Kavvu Privacy Policy

Kavvu collects only the data needed to run the game, manage accounts, process subscriptions, and send optional notifications.

Data We Collect

• Account identifiers from Sign in with Apple or Supabase Auth.
• Display name, first name, and last name when Apple provides them or when the user saves them.
• Game room data, player records, answers, votes, reveal events, and generated question output needed to run a room.
• Purchase and entitlement status from RevenueCat.
• Push notification token, notification permission state, app version, locale, timezone, and app-open activity for notification delivery and campaign safety.

How We Use Data

• To authenticate users and restore sessions.
• To create, join, and run Kavvu rooms.
• To verify Premium access server-side.
• To support account deletion and subscription support flows.
• To send optional push notifications when the user allows notifications.

Data Retention

Transient game data is deleted when the game finishes. Account, profile, settings, premium status, and push-token records are retained while the account exists. When a user deletes their account, Kavvu requests deletion of the Supabase Auth account and associated account data.

Third Parties

Kavvu uses Supabase for backend services, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, OpenAI for server-side question generation, and Apple services for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and push notifications.
